The Rotary Club of Madras Northwest is one among 33,040 clubs of Rotary International which is organized into 531 districts in 207 countries worldwide. The club is part of  RI Dist. 3230 which is situated in South India and consists of 110 clubs with more than 4200 members. Our 47 members form a small but significant number of nearly 1.25 million Rotarians all over the world.

Our members espouse the Rotary ideal of "Service Above Self" in their personal, business, and community life. We pride ourselves as a "Family Club" and spouses of the Rotarians (called Rotary Anns) and their children (called Annettes) congregate at meetings, project sites, and fellowship gatherings and perpetrate the family feel. Our members are known for their giving of time and funds, their camaraderie and the Rotary family spirit.
